Frankly, I had never heard of BRIC’S Luggage until three years ago when I was in Rome in the area of the Spanish Steps shopping with my daughter and we came upon their store there…..this is a prime shopping area in Rome and to have a luggage store was impressive in itself….normally, this real estate is for flagship stores for high end brand watch firms (Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe), jewelry stores like Cartier and Tiffany and and any fashion house worth their salt.
Anyway, after being introduced to the brand and buying my daughter a Bellagio 21 Inch Carry-On Spinner Trunk, I was so impressed that I went back a few days later and shopped for myself and came away with a similar Bellagio 21 inch Business 21 Inch Carry-On Spinner Trunk and a Bellagio 27 inch Spinner Trunk which I am reviewing today.
What could possibly make this luggage, with a hefty price tag, worth the price and devotion? One reason of course is style….it is Italian and is a beautiful piece of luggage from its textured olive colored polycarbonate shell to its tan leather accents and handle. The shell is extremely light weight and so you aren’t wasting weight on structure and is beautifully lined as you would expect, with leather accents inside as well and well thought out zippered pockets and a TSA approved lock. One of the best features are the four Hinomoto wheels (described as the best in the business) that glide over surfaces with ease and the handle has a three position design. You can also purchase, for a modest price, a clear plastic cover to protect the bag during the checked phase.
With the superior design and available in several sizes and colors, the BRIC’S Bellagio line is just enjoyable to use and when has anyone said that about luggage before? I’ve even had people in various travel situations ask me what brand I was using and that hasn’t happened to me previous to BRIC’S either.
For ease of use, durability, style and design, this luggage is simply the best and I absolutely recommend it for your future travel!
